Bieber World
Untrue: any number of recent rumors about young Canadian pop singing sensation and heartthrob Justin Bieber, at least one of which recently catapulted him to the No. 1 searched term on the World Wide Web, according to Google Trends. True: The 16-year-old, who appears at the Honda Center in Anaheim, was the first solo artist in history to send four songs from a debut album into the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 before the album’s release. That album was My World, and the tunes were “One Time,” “One Less Lonely Girl,” “Love Me” and “Favorite Girl.” The hit singles “Baby” and “Somebody to Love” from the multi-platinum new follow-up album My World 2.0 reached No. 1 in 16 countries. Combined, Bieber has sold more than 5 million albums.
